Achieving Net Zero. Is it possible?

We think so. With the right strategy.

Many teams we work with, both large and small, have questions around sustainability the product they want to develop.

  • How do we measure the carbon footprint of the entire process from concept to end of life?
  • Can we reduce our carbon output, without compromising our business goals?
  • How do we educate internally and change cultures to accelerate progress towards improving our sustainability KPIs?

If you don't know the answers, there's help at hand.

As a business owner or a product designer/engineer, there's no shame admitting you do not know the answers to these questions right now.

Where it would be remiss, is if you did not try to find out the answers, or work with the findings to bring about change.

The Imagination Factory provides expertise in industrial design, consumer experience and engineering insights. So we often speak with businesses about their sustainability strategy and have found many struggling to find the right support.

So, the next logical step in our strategy is to partner with the people that can answer those bigger questions about carbon footprint across a product's lifecycle.

eight associates

With this in mind, we're excited to announce, a partnership with sustainability consultancy eight associates, to help businesses develop strategies and solutions to achieve their sustainability goals and deliver Net Zero carbon.

Through this partnership, The Imagination Factory’s clients can benefit from expertise in sustainable design and gain access to professionals in environmental measurement, impact reporting and even certification.

The Imagination Factory will also provide its expertise to eight associates clients. This combination of skills will help companies that want to develop new products and services that delight customers whilst being mindful of their impact on the planet.

 Chris Hocknell, Director, eight associates:

‘We are excited to be partnering with The Imagination Factory. At eight associates we help businesses develop strategies to achieve their sustainability goals and reach Net Zero.

Through this relationship we can empower companies to take on the responsibility of reducing their environmental impacts and inspire others through product innovation.

We recognise that the ambition to create bio-based, circular products and packaging requires a paradigm shift for organisations, so we’ve developed this partnership to help deliver realistic and measurable ways to achieve truly sustainable products. This will include measuring and advising on a product’s carbon footprint through comprehensive Life Cycle Assessments to unlock all opportunities.”

This partnership will also see The Imagination Factory and eight associates producing unique content to help design led businesses to cut through the sustainability noise and to develop a clear strategy that incorporates design, engineering and materials to achieve growth that benefits people and the planet.
